Judges 13-15
In the story of Samson there is a subtle but powerful lesson on rearing children. Judges 13:8 (KJV) 8 Then Manoah intreated the LORD, and said, O my Lord, let the man of God which thou didst send come again unto us, and teach us what we shall do unto the child that shall be born. We as parents should beg God for wisdom to teach but also to know how and what to teach our children that they would serve the Lord. This should be a prayer of young couples before a child is born.
