More Like Jesus

Isaiah 28-30

Many familiar principles lay within these chapters.

Isaiah 28:7 (KJV) 7 But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.

If wine and strong drink are a catalyst to erring against God and man, why do we seek after it, any of it. Scientifically, one drink will altar your reaction time, so it begins there to cause you to err in vision, to stumble at judgement

When we read and hear these kinds of things we have a choice. Will will hear and receive or will we reject?  Isaiah 30:10 (KJV) 10 Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:

God will show us the truth if we have ears to hear and hearts to receive. Isaiah 30:21 (KJV) 1 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

Let us glean from the word of God and let us humble ourselves to it that we might be changed to be more like Jesus.

Love you all!
