Leviticus 22-23
Leviticus 22:33 (KJV) 33 That brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD. When we were saved, it was for a divine purpose. Through the blood of Jesus, we were brought out of the spiritual land of Egypt. Man thinks it is all about him, but we were brought out that God would be our God, for He is the Lord. I am afraid that many who trust Christ are looking at
how it benefits them and of course it is wonderful that we receive salvation in Christ, but surely God leaves us here for a purpose. The purpose of serving Him. Don’t waste your salvation living for yourself. Live in such a way that God is your God and saviour.
