Deuteronomy 5-7
Deuteronomy 7:22 (KJV) 22 And the LORD thy God will put out those nations before thee by little and little: thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee. This is God’s method of our spiritual growth. It is little by little. If we have victory too easily, too quickly, the beast of pride, the beast of complacency will increase upon us. The spiritual life is a lifetime battle. Let us not be weary in well-doing.
