God Is In Control

Jeremiah 38-41
Chapter 38, there is a lot to learn from the character, faith and integrity of Jeremiah. Even though he is placed in a horrible prison to die, he never fails to speak the words that God has given him to speak. He is willing to die that others might listen and live.
Jeremiah 39:17-18 (KJV) 17 But I will deliver thee in that day, saith the LORD: and thou shalt not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou art afraid. 18 For I will surely deliver thee, and thou shalt not fall by the sword, but thy life shall be for a prey unto thee: because thou hast put thy trust in me, saith the LORD.
We may endure much as we serve our God but He is always in control and one day whether here or in heaven we will be vindicated and rewarded for trusting in the Lord.
