Numbers 7:89 (KJV)
89 And when Moses was gone into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one speaking unto him from off the mercy seat that was upon the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubim’s : and he spake unto him. If we will enter in, He will meet us and speak with us. This is a wonderful picture of the secret place. We do not need to cower or fear for He speaks to us from the Mercy seat. The mercy seat is upon the ark which holds the representation of God’s divine provision and protection. God cares for us and in His mercy is willing to forgive us, for He loves us.
