A Faithful Servant

Jeremiah 46:28 (KJV) 28 Fear thou not, O Jacob my servant, saith the LORD: for I am with thee;for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have driven thee: but I will not make a full end of thee, but correct thee in measure; yet will I not leave thee wholly unpunished. The lost nations come to complete punishment, complete destruction but God’s people will not be completely destroyed, yet they will answer for turning their backs on God. This is a crude picture of the lost and saved. The lost will find judgement in this life and eternal life. It is complete judgement. The saved will not face eternal judgement but the ones who reject God’s teachings and leading in this life will not be left wholly unpunished. Be sure your sin will find you out. How much better it would be to follow God in this life and enter heaven, following Him. Heaven is a promise, but well done will only be heard by the faithful servant, not perfect servant, but faithful servant of Christ.
