Genesis 41-42
Genesis 41:15-16 (KJV) 15 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have
dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have
heard say of thee, that thou canst understand a dream to interpret it.
16 And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace. The key statement in these two chapters is, “It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.” We look for answers in so many places but the answer is in the Word of God. I know some still put great stock in dreams, but why would God speak in dreams to a people if they do not receive the Words He has already given. We have what Joseph did not have, the complete Word that God wants us have. Our responsibility is to allow it to guide or lives and decisions rather than living by, emotion, desires, or speculation. Let us love the Word. 1 Corinthians 13:8-10 (KJV) 8 Charity never
faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
Love you all
