Hebrews 11-13
Hebrews 11:15-16 (KJV) 5 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. 16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
The reason that Christians return to the world’s lifestyle, dress, music, attitude is because they kept their mind on the old life. Instead of realizing what they had in Christ, they are mindful of what they left and their memory of it is false for they remember the party but not the pain. Let our minds be own a better, a heavenly country.
