God Will Care For You

7 And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits; 8 And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse: 9 But be shod with sandals; and not put on two coats.
Today there is a great movement toward the teaching of having power to cast out demons. This of course is a biblical truth but so many do not read the rest of the command. They are to take nothing and let the same God care for them as the one who delivers from unclean spirits. Instead this movement is about great buildings, expensive clothes, cars, houses and overall wealth and about being in front of a crowd when it happens. I believe God can deliver one from
an unclean spirit. It will be done through prayer, humility and surrender to God’s Spirit and it will be done without the great announcing of it for over and over Jesus said, go and tell no one. The word was spread but not by Jesus. It was spread by the one healed or delivered. Proverbs 27:2 Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips.
