Are You Yielding to Him?

Matthew 11-12
Matthew 12:44-45 (KJV) 44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. 45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked
generation.
There a key word in these verses. The spiritual battle is real and through the power of God, through Jesus Christ a person can be set free from demonic influence, but the key word in these verses is empty. Once a person is set free, through salvation or what many called deliverance, the problem is that often they are now empty, for they do not yield to the Holy Spirit of God. Jesus was able to cast out the evil spirit from them but the choice to yield and be filled with the Holy Spirit was their decision. Are you yielded to the Spirit of God today? As a child of God you are His temple, are you allowing Him full access to the temple, to your heart, to your mind, to your body? 1 Corinthians 7:23-24 (KJV) 23 Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men. 24 Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.
