The First Shall Be Last

Mark 10-11
Mark 10:29-31 (KJV) 29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, 30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. 31 But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.
A very misunderstood passage. Health and wealth gospel preachers tell us that these verses mean that to leave all and serve God and you personally will have a hundred fold possessions, but the context is about family. When you become a child of God you now have a hundred fold brethren, sisters, mothers, children and they have houses and lands, but it also multiplies your persecutions and sufferings for along with the benefit of a larger family, you also have the hurt and pain when others suffer.
