Mark 4-5
Mark 4:23-25 (KJV) 23 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. 24 And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given. 25 For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.
A passage that needs thought and careful reading. Is God saying that He gives to those that have and doesn’t give or takes away from has little? No, He is saying He is able to give to those who will hear, but those who refuse to hear not only don’t receive what they could but they will lose what they have. We need to have ears to hear the wisdom and truth of God.
