Look Forward

Genesis 16-21
Genesis 19:17 (KJV)
17 And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed. Genesis 19:26 (KJV) 26 But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt. When the Lord saved us He desired that we look forward to the life He has given us and not back to the life we left. To look back is to turn your heart back to the old life, the old ways, the way of the world and the flesh. To look back will lead to destruction. Look forward to the ways of the Lord.
